Moss Psychology has a history of offering continuity of services in times of change, for instance, switching seamlessly to online working in 2020/21 during the initial and subsequent stages of the COVID pandemic. We have learned much through our day-to-day practice, as well as through professional development activities regarding the benefits of online video sessions. This said, we have also received a great deal of feedback from our clients that in-person sessions are, more often than not, the preferred method of receiving psychological services. We are privileged to be able to offer this in a carefully designed therapeutic environment. With our own dedicated building, we are able to offer our clients a setting that has been specifically modelled around creating physical and psychological comfort and safety without compromise.
In-person sessions offer the benefit of a guaranteed confidential, protected and private space that both the therapist and client can be assured of. It creates a greater sense of safety and commitment to the assessment and therapeutic process, as both the therapist and client know that they will not be disturbed by any outside influences. Additionally, unlike online therapy, there is no risk of experiencing any disconnection in the conversation due to not having to rely on technology.
When you arrive at our offices, you will receive a warm welcome from our office manager, and you will be orientated to our therapeutic environment, ensuring that you have everything you need.
We offer a spacious waiting area, washroom facilities and drinks, in order for you to feel as comfortable as possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our therapeutic space as you embark on your journey with us!
